The Compliance Specialist is a research, analysis and operations role for Holo that requires the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

Audit, organize, and process information to develop documentation that shares information at all levels to communicate the necessary details about legal compliance across teams and individuals in the organization

Work to ensure Holo’s activities adhere to guidelines established by all the various global jurisdictions and agencies that regulate them

Support the strategic and tactical planning for operational activities across multiple legal entities to ensure compliance with governmental regulations and ordinances globally

Strategize and conduct compliance monitoring reviews, submit recommendations for remedial action based on review findings

Assess established policies and procedures against applicable regulations

Experience:

In depth research and analytical skills

Must have the drive to investigate and dissect information (such as safety, financial, legal & other regulatory compliance) and offer efficient solutions

Multi-lingual preferred

Some knowledge of crypto and tax compliance, IT, security, privacy, etc.

Enjoys details, working with data and performing analysis

Able to pull details into big picture summary communications

Provide examples of process improvements

Audit experience including internal controls compliance, risk analysis,

Skills/qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication

Familiarity with basic computer functions

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Capability to interact positively with a wide variety of individuals and an expectation, desire and capacity to support the growth of the Group

Work independently as needed, leading initiation, execution and completion of research and reporting

  • Have or be willing to work towards professional qualification in Finance, Compliance, AML, Audit, Legal or equivalent

At least three year relevant experience and should demonstrate a depth of knowledge in current Compliance best practice

Experience of a highly regulated environment and working to diverse external regulations
