JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Analyst - Organic Growth and Content (Aerie / Offline)
Overview - The Analyst - Organic Growth & Content is responsible for analyzing trends and developing content with the ultimate goal of increasing the impact of organic marketing. A writer at heart, this Analyst will have a strong understanding of SEO and Answer Engine best practices, a knack for creating engaging and informative content, a strong analytical orientation and a proven track record of optimizing content for various digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
Draft high-quality content for websites, blogs, social media, and other digital platforms, maintaining a consistent brand voice
Perform ongoing content gap analyses, reviewing the competitive landscape to provide trending recommendations for site improvements and content expansion that tie back to marketing strategies (audience, messaging, seasonal & annual goals).
Regularly audit and optimize existing content to ensure it remains relevant, up-to-date, and aligned with evolving marketing strategies.
SEO And AEO Optimization:
Conduct keyword and “answer engine” research to identify relevant topics and optimize content for search engines.
Implement on-page SEO best practices, including meta descriptions, headers, copy block creation, and internal linking.
Monitor and analyze content performance, adjusting strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
Stay up-to-date with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry news to ensure content strategies remain effective.
Performance Analysis:
Use tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or BrightEdge to track and report on content performance.
Analyze metrics and make data-driven recommendations for content improvements and organic strategies.
Qualifications:
2+ years of relevant experience in SEO and content writing, bonus point for retail subject matter
Proven ability to create engaging, well-written, well-researched content.
Strong understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page SEO, and link building.
Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, BrightEdge, or similar.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field is preferred
