Strategic Planning & Execution:
Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to target and secure business with the Top 30-50 school districts across the United States.
Conduct market analysis to identify key trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the K-12 HR and recruitment technology space.
Establish and report on key performance metrics for sales pipelines, partnership funnels, and revenue targets.
Direct Sales & Revenue Generation:
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities with public and private K-12 school districts.
Articulate a clear and compelling value proposition to key decision-makers, including Superintendents, Chief Human Resources Officers, and Directors of Talent Acquisition.
Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals.
Partnerships & Alliances:
Identify, cultivate, and formalize strategic partnerships with complementary edtech companies (e.g., HRIS, LMS, Professional Development platforms) within the K-12 ecosystem.
Structure and negotiate co-selling, re-selling, and referral agreements that drive new business and create mutual value.
Serve as the primary relationship manager for key partners, ensuring alignment and successful collaboration.
Market Presence & Relationship Building:
Represent the company with professionalism and expertise at national and regional K-12 conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
Leverage existing relationships with school district decision-makers to accelerate sales cycles and build trust.
Act as a subject matter expert, staying ahead of industry trends and the evolving needs of K-12 hiring.
Requirements
5+ years of proven success in a business development, sales, or partnerships role, with a significant focus on the US K-12 education market.
Demonstrable experience selling technology, SaaS, or hiring solutions directly to K-12 school districts.
A strong understanding of the K-12 procurement process, funding cycles, and decision-making structures.
Proven ability to work independently as a high-performing individual contributor in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the US (estimated 30-50%).
Authorization to work in the United States is required.
