About Job

Oversee detailed design work in standard product development and delivery projects related to HPGR equipment. Review and achieve project engineering, quality, cost, and schedule requirements. Work closely with Product Lines and management to set engineering design guidelines and standards for upgrades, retrofits, and refurbishments of mining equipment support arrangements. Prepare detailed scopes of work for the upgrade of existing equipment. Perform calculations to ensure the safe function of equipment for refurbishment, upgrade, or retrofit. Prepare mechanical drawings to facilitate fabrication, construction, and installation of equipment or services. Visit customer offices and plants to determine physical restrictions or limitations for refurbishment, upgrade, or retrofit projects. Provide technical support to field service representatives and recommend improvements to enhance field methods and efficiency.

Requirements

A Mechanical Engineering degree.
At least five years of experience designing HPGR equipment or ten years of experience with grinding products in the mining industry.
Strong proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modeling using industry-standard CAD software for the design and development of mechanical systems.
Experience in Bill of Materials (BOM) management.
Experience using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for mechanical linear analysis.
Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools like Teamcenter, Vault, or Enovia.
