Here's a summary of responsibilities: The USOPC Brand & Fan Engagement team is seeking a Digital Products Manager to serve as a strategic thought leader for the holistic Team USA platform experience across all owned and operated platforms. The Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the USOPC's digital product strategy, including the roadmap for platforms based on fan and stakeholder needs, strategic objectives, and marketplace opportunities. The Manager will act as the primary point of contact for all internal stakeholders, outside agencies, and vendors for each product. The Manager is also responsible for collaborating and recommending product solutions, guiding the design and development of additional features, and suggesting new capabilities to engage Team USA fans and support stakeholders. The Manager will sit at the intersection of product and fan engagement across the Marketing team to help ensure products are built with the appropriate mix of features to connect with fans, create a rich user experience, and elevate content across the Team USA ecosystem. Here’s how you’ll have an impact: • Work cross-functionally with all stakeholders, including NGB Services and the legal team, to maintain and evolve the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Digital Platform, delivering a best-in-class fan experience, features, functionality, and authoring experience. This is inclusive of TeamUSA.com, USOPC.org, and websites for our National Governing Bodies hosted on our digital platform. • Provide guidance and support to NGBs across the Digital Engagement Platform, educating key partners on capabilities, onboarding NGBs to the platform, and partnering with NGBs to ensure a positive user experience. • Oversee daily product management activities including writing product specs and requirements and crafting high-level technical and user experience flows. • Lead SEO efforts in partnership with the media team, aligning with brand and content strategy to implement best practices for success. • Manage day-to-day relationships with key platform partners to ensure optimal functionality for the Content Team’s operations, including the Digital Engagement Platform, Social Platforms, and supporting technology platforms as identified. • Understand key initiatives of Brand & Fan Engagement, including fan needs, evolving market trends, technology innovations, and competitive offerings to grow and develop new functionality, features, and platforms in partnership with key vendors and partners. • Partner with USOPP and USOPC teams, including Consumer Insights & Analytics, Development, and Consumer Products, to uncover fan, donor, and consumer needs and wants and recommend appropriate solutions. • Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to build out product roadmaps and testing strategies to drive fan growth and engagement. Establish project goals and track impact against those goals. • Support product and platform exploration and implementation as business needs are identified. Work with cross functional teams to integrate these programs into existing work flows and infrastructure. • Effectively support the product design, engineering, and QA teams throughout sprint cycles by proactively removing roadblocks and helping prioritize work and feedback based on established outcomes and business objectives • Communicate product needs, roadmaps, and work plans to internal and external stakeholders, including third-party developers, through the collection and creation of functional specifications, business requirements, user stories, and data analysis. • Lead relationships with third-party agencies and vendors to assess feature and product opportunities, drive ideation and prioritization for new initiatives and features, establish a product roadmap and strategy. • Build and manage relationships with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders, including product owners, marketing, content, sponsorship sales, commerce, external vendors, and executives. • Act as the main point of contact for product development partners and manage the design, requirements, and timeline process. Ensure timelines and roadmaps align to the overall product direction. • Perform other duties as assigned. Here are the skills and experience you'll need to be effective: • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, media, advertising, communications, or related field or equivalent work experience • Advanced degree preferred • 4+ years of product management experience • Experience defining and reviewing digital product requirements and user journey scenarios • Experience working with product management tools • Experience in the sports industry a plus • Excellent understanding of the digital landscape regionally, domestically, and internationally • Understanding of digital product management best practices • Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and waterfall and agile methodologies • Knowledgeable in content management, websites, mobile applications, and content publishing • Ability to develop a strong point-of-view based on data and present recommendations to stakeholders • Ability to align stakeholders across various teams behind a project or initiative • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills • Interest in learning about new technology and its application in business • Appreciation for sport and the Olympic & Paralympic Movement Here are the tools, equipment, & conditions: • Standard office equipment • Office environment in a multi-story building on a multi-building site • Non-traditional hours on occasion, including nights and weekends • Some domestic and/or international travel • Familiar with Personalization, Optimization, and A/B Testing tools • Familiar with Video Management Systems (VMS) • Regular attendance at work is an essential job function Here's where you'll work: Remote Here's some more information you need to know: • Hiring pay range $76,178 - $96,746 • This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week. • Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 15% target. Requirements
