Marketing Communications Specialist

About Job

Lead the development and implementation of communications plans by identifying strategy, target audiences, key messages, tactics, schedule, and measurement. In partnership with the marketing team, execute campaigns leveraging a variety of channels, including direct mail, email, social, newsletters, events and other tactics. Gain understanding of business drivers of the Company, write creative briefs that capture marketing colleagues’ business needs, reflect competitive landscape, and customer insight. Work with internal stakeholders and outside agency to translate creative brief into concepts. Stay abreast of topics and trends affecting the home health care industry and government programs like EEOICPA and RECA, develop a structured cadence to solicit input and knowledge from SMEs (clinical, industry, sales, analytics etc) and determine if a marketing campaign is warranted. Oversee marketing calendar taking initiative to identify opportunities for new campaigns. Perform comprehensive audit of communications (websites, invitations, emails) for relevance and accuracy. Monitor timelines for multiple events and campaigns, including monitoring deadlines, payment schedules, and registrations. Manage promotional items and marketing collateral inventory. Some travel to national events expected.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing/communications.
Experience in print and digital production desired.
EEOICPA and RECA familiarity is desired.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Awareness of content strategy concepts and B2C buyer’s journey
Strong collaboration skills to facilitate project execution with colleagues, cross-functional teams, creative agency partners, and third-party vendors.
Motivated, high energy, and a team player who interfaces well at all levels within the organization.
Ability to work on numerous projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic multi-location environment, while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
Desire to work in a mission-driven organization serving chronically ill patients.
Previous experience in home healthcare is required, and experience with EEOICPA and RECA desired.
