Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Project Planner to join our team. The Project Planner is the technical facilitator for field verifying, CNC programming, and completing work orders for production. The Project Planner will accurately create drawings and work orders for Production to fabricate items for projects. The Project Planner will also work with Project Managers and Production in any manner to assist successful completion of work. Duties & Responsibilities Function with a higher sense of responsibility to project success then production fabricator and production installer Know what needs to be done to plan work independently without being told Look at and coordinate sequences and processes needed for the project Know ASST fabrication practices and plan work accordingly Coordinate and communicate daily with PM Know scope of work and schedule for projects Review project to ensure understanding of scope of work and schedule Communicate any concerns to PM Provide material cut-sheets when necessary Break items down into fabrication pieces as needed Collaborate with PM and production team as needed to determine best method of fabrication/programming Coordinate work orders either through work order requests or writing own work orders Ensure work orders are ready to release as scheduled (material in house, work order written, printed, turned into production) Ensure all templates and jigs are prepared Ensure all programming is ready Create work orders per the project schedule Remain knowledgeable of ASST fabrication means and methods Experience Experience with work order writing Experience with CNC programming Experience with field verification Excellent communication and teamwork skills Excellent computer skills Experience with Filemaker Pro software a plus. Business or Construction related degree a plus. Requirements

Experience with work order writing
