Achieve or exceed sales goals defined in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for your region in the USA.
Conduct individual and joint sales calls to develop, advance, and close opportunities
Attend and participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and regional scientific events
Establish and build relationships with scientific leaders and key influencers
Maintain accurate records in the company CRM, including opportunities, contacts, and leads
Provide timely forecasts and updates to management on regional activity and pipeline status
Rapidly follow up on sales inquiries to qualify leads and assess customer needs
Collaborate with the applications team to coordinate sample testing and instrument demonstrations
Communicate regional insights regarding market trends, competitive activity, and growth opportunities
Submit abstracts and represent PSC at regional scientific shows/workshops through talks or posters
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field)
Required: Sales Experience with Raman and/or IR microscopy and spectroscopy
5+ years of successful capital equipment sales experience
Ability to travel more than 50%, including overnight trips
