Lead Technical-Commercial Engagements- Act as the main point of contact for customers, managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to technical solution delivery and closure.
Build and Maintain Strategic Relationships- Develop long-term partnerships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and integrators through regular contact, trust, and solution-oriented service.
Collaborate with Engineering and Product Teams- Translate customer requirements into feasible product concepts, working closely with design and manufacturing teams.
Drive Regional Sales Strategy- Shape and execute a go-to-market plan in your assigned territory, adjusting tactics based on market dynamics and customer feedback.
Monitor Market Trends and Customer Needs- Stay informed on industry shifts and evolving technical requirements, using insights to position Payton ahead of competitors.
Report and Forecast Sales Activity- Maintain accurate records in CRM, deliver pipeline forecasts, and contribute to strategic planning with the global sales team.
Requirements
6-10+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management in power electronics engineer, magnetics, or high-reliability components
Deep familiarity with customer needs in industries such as aerospace, EV, medical, or defence sectors
Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and influence technical buying decisions
Strong communication and contract negotiation skills
Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage independently in a fast-paced, technical sales environment
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Physics, or Business (or equivalent experience)
Existing professional network and industry presence is a strong advantage
Willingness to travel; position is remote
