You'll leverage AI-assisted development and cloud-native infrastructure to create full-stack solutions that address real challenges, not simply complete tasks. What You Will Be Doing
Design and Deploy Full-Stack Capabilities: Transform user stories into delivered value; clarify needs, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, validate rigorously, and release to production
Identify and Resolve Defects: Trace issues to their underlying causes, address the fundamental problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent recurrence through intelligent testing strategies
Elevate Code Standards: Assess design proposals and code submissions to verify clarity, simplicity, and accuracy, preventing technical debt at its source
What You Won’t Be Doing
Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems as ends in themselves
Executing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying challenge
Spending excessive time in meetings about roadmaps and priorities or coordinating with stakeholders
Simply delivering features; you'll be accountable for resolving genuine problems
Senior Developer Key Responsibilities
Applying AI to create software that addresses authentic user needs, delivers rapidly, and remains sustainable over time
Basic Requirements
At least 4 years of experience writing production code for web applications' frontend and backend (any framework).
Strong ownership: Demonstrated experience owning complete modules, product features, or teams, not just contributing siloed tasks
Independent execution: The ability to unblock yourself, set your own pace, and find paths forward in ambiguous situations
Experience in using generative A.I. in your day-to-day development work

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
