We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join a leading team driving innovation in fraud prevention and financial crime solutions. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable, full-stack software that supports complex analytics and anti-money laundering systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and lead technical discussions to ensure high-quality implementations. Accountabilities:
Lead development of new features and enhancements for fraud and financial crime solutions across multiple SAS platforms
Mentor and coach junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices
Design and implement testable, scalable software solutions while adhering to R&D standards and processes
Participate in scoping, planning, and tracking work on complex software projects in a continuous delivery environment
Engage with cross-functional teams including product owners, designers, and other developers to resolve technical and design challenges
Ensure adherence to security policies and software development standards
Contribute to open-source initiatives and maintain a high standard of code quality
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
8+ years of experience developing web applications and full-stack solutions
Proficiency in Java, RESTful APIs, and front-end frameworks such as Angular or React
Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments
Familiarity with SAS Viya platforms, SAS language, and database technologies like Postgres, Oracle, or SQLServer
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Experience mentoring and guiding junior developers in complex software projects
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure
Familiarity with GitHub Enterprise and Gerrit
Knowledge of SAS Visual Investigator or related analytics solutions
