Position Overview
We’re excited to offer a Winter Software Engineering Internship for driven and passionate students ready to tackle real-world projects in the tech space. During this remote internship, you'll get the chance to work alongside a talented engineering team, developing and improving features that power our e-commerce platform. The internship is designed to help you build valuable skills in a real-world, fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of Betabrand.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications and services throughout the winter season.
Collaborate with the engineering team to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Participate in code reviews, bug fixes, and debugging sessions to improve the platform.
Contribute to the performance, reliability, and scalability of our digital systems.
Help develop new features that enhance user experience for our customers.
Write and run automated tests to ensure high-quality releases.
Support the ongoing development of internal tools and infrastructure.
Stay current with industry best practices, learning opportunities, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Ruby).
Basic understanding of web development frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js).
Familiarity with databases and version control (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
A passion for learning and an interest in how technology drives the e-commerce experience.
